Food is medicine and medicine is food. Truer words have never been said. Real food has the power to heal. Real food has within it all the nutrients our bodies need to stay healthy, fight off sickness and cure all diseases including cancer. Every natural whole food God has given us has a code within it to help our bodies function properly and stay healthy. I believe God gives us clues to what type of foods will help certain parts of the body. Many natural whole food closely resemble the organ and body parts they are good for.
Walnuts for example have a resemblance to the human brain, and have been recognized as one of the ultimate brain foods. Walnuts are a great source of omega -3 an essential fatty acid to keep the brain functioning properly. Research also indicates that low omega- 3 intake is linked to depression.
Walnuts have more antioxidants, folic acid and Vitamin E than any other nut.
Carrots are great for the eyes, if you chop a carrot in half you can clearly see it resembles the pupil of an eye. The beta-barotene that gives carrots their vibrant color helps to maintain eye sight and protects against cataracts.
A stalk of celery resembles a bone and they are good for the bones too. Celery is very high in Silicon and helps renew joints, bone, arteries and connective tissue. Celery is known to help fight off cancer, lower cholesterol and help kidney function by eliminating the toxins from the body.
Olives resemble ovaries and may help reduce hot flashes in women going through menopause. Research indicates olive oil may reduce ovarian cancer by 30 percent.
A tomato has four chambers and is red like the heart. Tomatoes help prevent heart disease, prostate cancer, breast cancers and more.
Oranges, grapefruit and other citrus fruits have been compared to the appearance of the female mammary glands and contain nutrients that are helpful in the fight against breast cancer.

Before our family started eating healthy we would get sick all the time. Breanna, Nathan and I were always on antibiotics, about every three months an average. It wasn’t until I started making veggie smoothies loaded with fresh veggies everyday that I started seeing and experiencing real changes in our health. These days we don’t get sick anymore and If we do feel like our body is fighting off something we just treat it with orange juice and veggies instead of antibiotics.
